Overview
Affiliated to Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, the B.A. in Yogashastra is a 3+1 years course, to train students in Yogic concepts, practices, and application at the graduate level.
The comprehensive B.A. program promotes awareness of positive health, personality development, and individual psycho-spiritual evolution.
The objective of the course is to train students to take up Yoga Science as a profession and to prepare participants for pursuing higher aspects of Yoga and Yoga Research.
The credit-based syllabus includes theory, practice, field training in Yoga, Yoga therapy and assignments.
Bachelor’s Program (3+1 Years)
Kaivalyadhama offers a 4-year Bachelor’s Program structured as 3+1 years, in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 and UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programs (2022).
First 3 Years: Students complete the core curriculum and may exit after three years with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Optional 4th Year: The final year is research-oriented, culminating in a Bachelor’s (Honours)Degree with Research. This year provides advanced studies in research methodology and prepares students for higher academic pursuits, including potential eligibility for direct Ph.D. admission, subject to university regulations.
This flexible structure allows students to choose between a standard undergraduate degree or an extended research-focused path, supporting academic growth and future scholarly opportunities.

NSS in B.A. Yogashastra (1st Year)
At Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, NSS is mandatory for all B.A. Yogashastra 1st-year students.
