“SMT. BHAGWATI DEVI BABURAM TIWARI AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING STUDENTS”
Kaivalyadhama announces “Smt. BHAGWATI DEVI BABURAM TIWARI SCHOLARSHIP” has been instituted for the worthy students of the Post. Graduate Diploma in Yoga Education. The scholarship is available to outstanding students of the course.
Four scholarships are available to the meritorious students (Two Boys, two Girls) . One male and one female will get Rs. 10,000/- each. As well, one (other) male and one (other) female will get Rs. 7500/- each. The overall performance of the students will be assessed on the following parameters:
Points of Selection
- Social Work, General conduct befitting an ideal yoga student.
- Scholastic achievement (percent-wise) at terminal Examination(College).
- Attendance (percent-wise) as per college record.
- Understanding of subject matter in theory lectures.
- Proficiency in practical Yoga as reflected in marks secured at the terminal and in the final examination (College).
- Social Work (Attendance, effectiveness, extracurricular activities and personality).
- Insight into yogic concepts and yoga practices befitting an ideal yoga teacher.
- Reflection of Institutional ideals and yogic values in personality disposition.
SCHOLARSHIP FACILITY
“SHRI. RAMESHWAR PRASAD NEVATIA SCHOLARSHIP”
The Yoga Education Fund came into existence in the year 2007 in the memory of “ Shri. Rameshwar Prasad Nevatia” with an objective to encourage young men and women into basics of yoga science in all its pure and pristine form so that they can pursue their life’s mission in the multiple disciplines of Yoga Science or take yogic practices to common man by involving themselves in spare time teaching while they adopt any other career path for their living.
Candidates can apply for the scholarships before the course but the selection process and interview will happen only after 4 months of living in the Ashram.
Rs. 50,000/- each will be given to two deserving boys and two deserving girls, including participation in 6 months internship program in various departments in the organization immediately after completion of the course.
Points of Selection
- This scholarship is only for PGDYEd. for the current scholastic year
- Selection of 2 Male and 2 Female Candidates.
- After successful completion of the course, he or she will have to be open to 6 months of internship in any of the departments of the organization, free lodging and boarding will be provided with an experience certificate after completion of the full program.

KHARE FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
Kaivalyadhama is honored to announce the establishment of the Khare Family Scholarship Fund, a generous endowment graciously instituted by Mrs. Radha and Mr. Pushpak Khare.
This scholarship reflects the Khare family’s deep commitment to education and their belief in the transformative power of learning. Established with the vision to uplift economically disadvantaged students, this endowment will provide meaningful financial support to deserving individuals pursuing their education at the Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis.
The scholarship embodies the core values of Kaivalyadhama—compassion, service, and the nurturing of future practitioners and ambassadors of Yoga who will carry forward the legacy of traditional yogic wisdom.
Scholarship Details
Eligible Programs:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Education (PGDYEd)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (DYT)
- Bachelor of Arts in Yogashastra (BA)
- Master of Arts in Yogashastra (MA)
(A Government-recognized course that helps the applicant become a professional earner)
Economically disadvantaged students from urban or rural backgrounds, with preference given to female applicants
Application Process
- This scholarship is intended for pre-application requests received before the commencement of the course
- Candidates can apply before the course begins. A Selection Committee constituted by the Trust will review applications and conduct interviews to identify eligible beneficiaries
Points of Selection
- Applicants from economically weaker backgrounds
- The quantum of financial assistance will be determined by the Selection Committee based on individual need
- An internship component may be included as a condition for granting the scholarship
The First scholarship is scheduled to be announced in the Academic Year 2026, marking the beginning of a meaningful and impactful contribution to the lives of economically disadvantaged and deserving students.
