Overview
Affiliated to Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, the B.A. in Yogashastra is a three-year-full-time course, to train students in Yogic concepts, practices, and application at the graduate level.
The comprehensive B.A. program promotes awareness of positive health, personality development, and individual psycho-spiritual evolution.
The objective of the course is to train students to take up Yoga Science as a profession and to prepare participants for pursuing higher aspects of Yoga and Yoga Research.
The credit-based syllabus includes theory, practice, field training in Yoga, Yoga therapy and assignments.

NSS in B.A. Yogashastra (1st Year)
At Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, NSS is mandatory for all B.A. Yogashastra 1st-year students. This requirement ensures that every student not only focuses on academic learning but also contributes to the well-being of society through service activities. By participating in NSS, students learn to apply the principles of yoga and cultural synthesis in real-world contexts, promoting holistic development.
Successful NSS Programs in 2024 at the college
Bharat Outreach (29th November 2024): The Bharat Outreach program was designed to raise awareness about key social issues and encourage student involvement in addressing them through outreach and active engagement.
Constitution Day (27th November 2024): This event focused on educating students and the community about the significance of the Indian Constitution, fostering respect for democratic values and rights.
Through these programs, students at Kaivalyadhama have not only contributed their service to society but also gained valuable life skills. They are becoming well-rounded individuals who understand the importance of social service, embodying the spirit of selfless service that is integral to the principles of NSS.
